PIQUA — The following are highlights from the Piqua police reports. All information is provided by Piqua police reports and Miami County Municipal Court records.
DISTURBANCE: A male subject was warned for criminal trespassing and menacing by stalking after a reported disturbance on South Roosevelt Avenue on Oct. 14 at 11:35 a.m.
HIT SKIP: There was a report of a hit skip accident on South Main Street on Oct. 14 at around 2 p.m. An unknown vehicle struck two park cars, damaging both.
There was a hit skip accident reported on South College Street on Oct. 14 at around 7:30 p.m.
UNRULY JUVENILE: Two female juveniles were reportedly fighting in the area of Brook Street on Oct. 14 at around 4 p.m. They were located, turned over to their parents, and warned for unruly violations.
THEFT: A victim reported an unknown person had withdrawn money from his bank account between Oct. 9-14.
ASSAULT: A juvenile was allegedly punched by another juvenile on Sioux Drive on Oct. 14. A male juvenile offender was charged with first-degree misdemeanor assault.
A complainant reported that he was struck and shoved down by another person at the Red Roof Inn and Suites on Scott Drive on Oct. 14 at 10:40 p.m.
TRESPASSING: A complainant reported someone trespassing on her property on Young Street on Oct. 14. Manuel E. Monsivais, 36, of Dayton, was charged with fourth-degree misdemeanor criminal trespass in connection with this incident.
DISORDERLY CONDUCT: There was a report of people arguing and fighting on New Street on Oct. 14 at 9:45 p.m. Louis Byers, 53, of Piqua; a male juvenile offender; Shaquille C. Chapman, 22, of Piqua; and Shaquayia Y. Crawley, 27, Piqua, were charged with fourth-degree misdemeanor disorderly conduct in connection with this incident.
There was a report of a dispute between two people at a residence on Camaro Court on Oct. 15 at around 12:30 a.m. Norro D. Perdue, 44, of Piqua, was cited for minor misdemeanor disorderly conduct in connection with this incident. He reportedly continued to be loud and refused to calm down.
There was a report of a large group of people involved in a physical altercation on North Wayne Street on Oct. 15 at around 2:15 a.m. People left the area upon officer arrival.
There was a report of a man lying down in the street in the area of West North and North Downing streets on Oct. 15 at around 3 a.m. The man stated he was intoxicated. He was taken to the hospital for evaluation.
