Lehman girls soccer coach Jeremy Lorenzo and senior Sara Fuller took top honors on the All-WOSL soccer team.

Lorenzo was named Coach of the Year, while Fuller was named Player of the Year.

Also named to the first team was Hannah Fogt.

Named to the second team were Kaitrin O’Leary and and Molly Safreed.

Katie Edwards and Mariah Pauley were named honorable mention.

Alex Wiseman and Jake Emrick were named to the second team, while Nick Neumier and Ian Smith were named honorable mention.

Lehman Catholic tennis seniors Emma Simpson and Diana Gibson were named the All-Miami Valley All-Academic team.

Gibson was also named honorable mention All-Miami Valley.

Rampage to

hold tryouts

Troy Rampage U14 Baseball is holding it’s last try outs for 2016. Catchers should bring their own catcher equipment.

The tryouts will be held in Troy at the Duke Park on Oct. 18 from 1-3:30 p.m.

Echo hosting

Warrior event

The fourth annual Wounded Warrior 5K run/walk will be held at Echo Hill Golf Course at Nov. 7 at 9 a.m.

The event has raised $6,000 for cause.

The entry fee is $25 and includes a t-shirt.

A nurse will be present to check blood pressure and water, hot chocolate, apples and bananas will be provided.

Timing will be available.

Entry forms are available at Echo Hills, the City building, YMCA, YWCA, Total Fitness, Crossfit, Can’t Stop Running and Joe Thoma Jewelers.

Edison to

host 5K

The Edison Community College 5K for a Cause will be held Oct. 31.

The event is held in remembrance of long-time Edison professor Dawn Hines.

Proceeds raised from the event will be donated to the Dawn Stinson Memorial Fund to benefit her son’s education.

Pre-registration deadline is Oct. 24 and the cost is $20, which includes a t-shirt.

Registration the day of the race is $25 and does not include a shirt. Registration begins at 8 a.m. the day of the race. Shirts will be sold for $5. The race will begin at 9 a.m.
