Jeff Cotner was low gross with 35 in the Wednesday Industrial League at Echo Hills Wednesday.

Brian Deal was second with 36 and Ben Gover, Ron Pearson Jr. and Phil Kazer tied for third with 39.

Ryan Pearson was low net with 31, while Brad Erwin, Todd Lavey, Dennis Bradley, Hank Berger and Kyle Reardon tied for second with 33.

Judy Williams and Cindy Pearson shared low gross honors in the Tuesday Ladies League at Echo Hills with 46.

Rosalie Snipes was low net with 31, while Linda Willis and Karen Nickol tied for second with 35.

Marty Hemm was low putts with 15, while Linnea Thomas was second with 16.

The Piqua Optimist Club’s 8th annual Bob Mikolajewski Memorial 5K Run and Walk

will be held July 16, 2016, at 8:30 a.m. at the Piqua High School – meeting in

front of the Commons Area. Runners and walkers should pre-register by mail

postmarked before July 1st to ensure a race t-shirt.

Online registration is also available through www.cantstoprunnning.com.

However, race day registration will also be available starting at 7:15 a.m.

The cost to participate in the event is $15, and prizes will be awarded to the overall and age category winners.

The event is a major fundraiser for the Piqua Optimist Club and is held to honor the memory of our longtime member,

club treasurer, and friend, Bob Mikolajewski.

The Piqua Optimist Club is a “Friend of Youth” in the Piqua community through its youth events, including Tri-Star sports, Youth Appreciation luncheon, the awarding of scholarships, and support of many other youth related functions.
