On Saturday night, Becca Stiefel traveled to Waynesfield Raceway Park to be one of 23 mini sprints racing to put it in victory lane.
Stiefel would start sixth in the first heat in a heat of very good competition.
The race would go green to checkered with Stiefel finishing sixth and securing a 16th starting spot in the “A” main.
In the main feature Becca would move forward in her Dick’s Paint and Body Shop, KB Machine and Tool, Mark Knupp Muffler and Tire, Doug Mertz- AMSOIL, Aesthetic Finishers, Automotive Armature Works, Advocare by Mindy Chambers, JandT Photos, Red Dawg Racing Supplies, S&H Nerfs, Richard Donnelly sponsored sprinter.
She rolled off in the 16th starting spot and would stay out of trouble and cross the line ninth place.
“(Becca) Stiefel said we came in with a game plan, was fifth quick in practice but the track stayed tacky and fast all night and that wasn’t part of the plan,” Stiefel said. “After the heat, we thrashed through information from previous years made changes to the car and felt much better in the feature.”
