NEW CARLISLE - In their season opener, Miami East fell to Tecumseh

2-0. Both goals were scored before the break. East keeper, Katie

Bodenmiller, had 13 saves on the game.

“I think there was a definite case of first game jitters,” Miami East coach Emalie Carson said. “We did not play our game the first half. The second half was much better, we were more composed and the intensity was much better. We just

weren’t able to dig ourselves out the hole we created the first half. This is a fairly young group and there are going to be some growing pains, but it will come together.”

East is 0-1 and will host Graham tonight.
