The Miami East boys golf team won the Dan Kendig Memorial Wednesday at Echo Hills with a 330 total.

The Vikings were led by Scot Kirby, who carded 79 to tie for third overall.

Dylan Martinez had an 81, Devyn Carson had an 83 and Ryan Bergman added an 87.

Versailles finished third with a 337 total.

Nicholas Litten-Stonebraker led the Tigers with a 79, tying Kirby for third.

Other Versailles scores included Kyle Cotner 85, Jacob Warren 86, Griffen Riegle 87, Alec Ahrens 115 and Preston Platfoot 128.

Platfoot was closest to the pin on the 17th hole.

Russia finished fourth with a 338 total.

Connor Monnin led Russia with an 80, finishing fifth overall. Monnin also was closest to the pin on the seventh hole.

Zach Sherman and Gavin Hoying both carded 85s.

Rounding out the top four for the Raiders was Luke Dapore with 88.

Newton finished eighth with a 353 total.

Brock Jamison led the Indians with an 82.

Wade Ferrell carded an 88, Milan Bess had a 91 and Donovan Osceola added a 92.

Covington finished ninth with a 357 total.

Levi Winn led the Buccs with an 87.

Other Covington scores were Joe Slusher 89, Andrew Slusher 90, Ty Boehringer 91, Jacob Blair 94, James Grilliot 118.

Houston finished 16th with a 440 total.

Tigers take

fourth place

MINSTER — The Versailles boys golf team finished fourth at the Cardinal Invitational at Arrowhead Golf Course Tuesday.

The Tigers carded 338 and lost a fifth-man tiebreaker to Wapakoneta.

Nicholas Litten-Stonebraker, Jacob Watren and Kyle Cotner all carded 84s for Versailles.

Griffin Riegle had an 86, Kyle Christian carded a 108 and Michael Hemmelgarn added a 109.

Russia finished fifth with a 343 total.

Gavin Hoying led the Raiders with an 82.

Other Russia scores were Luke Dapore 84, Zach Sherman 87, Jordan Kremer 90, Jonah Counts 92, Connor Monnin 92.

Lehman finished ninth with a 390 total.

The Cavaliers were led by Sam Dean with an 87.

Other Lehman scores were Adam Vanderhorst 99, Ryan Schmidt 101, Tyler Scott 103, Tyler Lachey 103, Rocco Catanzarite 107.
