Rachel Dillard drilled a two-run double to make it 7-5 before Piqua could escape the inning.
Piqua put the tying runs on the corners in the home sixth when Sierra Miller and Megan Anderson singled, but Wills got a pop-up to end the rally.
Wayne, who had just two earned runs in the game and took advantage of five Piqua errors, got an insurance run in the seventh.
Taylor Best singled and scored on Mader’s single to make it 8-5.
Piqua could only manage a walk in the bottom of the inning, finishing the season at 12-12.
Anderson had a huge game for the Indians, going 4-for-4 with two doubles.
