Bucc teams second
COVINGTON — The Covington boys and girls track team finished second in a tri-meet with Greenville and Newton.
Boys team scores were Greenville 89, Covington 56, Newton 30.
Winning for Covington were Ian Fries, shot put, 43-3; Ben Miller, 110 hurdles, 15.5; Dallas Bordelon, 300 hurdles, NT; Lane White, 800, 2:04.07; and the 400 relay, 48.0.
Winning for Newton was the 3,200 relay, 9:06.09.
Girls team scores were Greenville 99, Covington 37, Newton 33.
Jackie Siefring led the Lady Buccs, sweeping the 100, 12.8; 100 hurdles, 15.2; 300 hurdles, 45.9; and high jump, 4-10.
Also winning for Covington were Heidi Cron, 800, 2:42.9; and the 1,600 relay, 4:37.5.
Winning for Newton was the 800 relay, 1:58.3.
Cav boys second
ANNA — The Lehman boys track and field team finished second at the Anna quad Tuesday, while the girls finished fourth.
Boys team scores were Anna 127, Lehman 61, Marion Local 34, Botkins 31.
Mitchell Slater swept the 110 hurdles, 17.71; and 300 hurdles, 43.90; while Joe Fuller won the 1,600, 4:52.15; and 3,200, 10:47.67; and Brad Montgomery took the discus, 146-11; and shot put, 50-10 1-4.
Girls team scores were Marion Local 106.5, Botkins 81, Anna 46.5, Lehman 19.
Lady Tigers win
ST. HENRY — The Versailles boys track and field team finished second in a tri-meet Tuesday, while the Versailles girls won the meet.
Boys team scores were St. Henry 77.5, Versailles 68.5, Fort Loramie 29.
Richie Ware swept the 1,600, 4:47.66; and 3,200, 10:46.81; while Alex Stucke won the discus, 129-8; and shot put, 45-1; and Zach Steinbrunner won the 110 hurdles, 16.80; and high jump, 6-0.

East girls fourth
SPRINGFIELD — The Miami East girls finished fourth at the Warrior Relays Tuesday, while the boys finished 11th.
Mack Rose was second overall in the boys pole vault, 12-0; giving the Vikings a third-place finish in the event.
Ashley Current had the best throw in the discus, 101-8; and teamed with Megan Kinnison for a second-place finish in that event.
Morgan Rose tied for the best pole vault, 9-0; and tied for second in that event; while the 3,200 relay team (Abigail Amheiser, Lorenza Savini, Sami Sands, Marie Ewing), was second in 10:49.19.
WEST MILTON —The Bradford boys and girls track and field teams competed in a five-team meet at Milton-Union Tuesday.
Bradford’s girls were fourth with 67.5 points. Shay LaFollette won the 100 hurdles (16 seconds) and high jump (4-10), Gabby Fair won the 400 (1:07.4) and Bailey Brewer won the 1,600 (5:56) and 800 (2:39).
