The Piqua girls bowling team finished seventh at the Eastern Holiday tournament last weekend.

Hayley Ryan broke her own school record en route to finishing third

After games of 194 and 199, Ryan finished with a 276 for a 669 series. That broke her previous school record of 274.

Alaina Mikolajewski and Sarah Ganger got off to good starts with games of 176 and 175 respectively.

“Then the lane conditions broke down a little for the right handed bowlers and they were not able to catch back up with the conditions,” Piqua coach Craig Miller said.

The team did well during the baker games with games of 212, 153, 163, 196 and 160.
