Buffalo Wild Wings, 2313 W. Main St., Troy — Observed broken tile in front of ice machine holding water for third inspection in a row. Tile must be repaired. REPEAT. Observed many gnats behind the bar. They have been working on. Suggest pest control company for help. Covers purchased to protect bottles of products.
Caldwell House, 2900 Corporate Drive, Troy — Critical violation at time of inspection: observed working containers of chemicals without labels. Working containers must be labeled to eliminate any confusion of chemicals.
K’s Hamburger, 1176 Main Street, Troy — Observed condensation water in backroom meat cooler. Fix issue. Observed food residual oil on equipment surfaces, on walls, and hard-to-reach areas/surfaces. Deep clean all food service areas when needed and frequently. If surfaces are not cleanable make surface smooth and easily cleanable. Observed vegetable slicer with green residual on blade. Clean properly and when needed. Organize backroom area. Ensure all things are properly stored. Note: remember all chemical bottles must be stored in designated area.
The Golden Leaf, 128 E. Main St., Tipp City — Satisfactory at time of inspection.
West Milton IGA, 1177 S. Miami St., West Milton — Resurface/replace cutting boards in meat cooler and deli area. Observed stained residual. Observed residential microwave and roaster. Replace food equipment with health code approved equipment. Walk-in produce cooler ceiling is damaged. Fix and replace panels where needed.
Meijer #112 Store, 1900 W. Main St., Troy — Critical violation at time of inspection: observed citrus ginger cheese on display at a temperature of 66 degrees Fahrenheit not under refrigeration. The label states “keep refrigerated.” Cheese disposed. Check all labels for refrigeration to limit germ growth. Observed leaks from compressions in the seafood and meat freezer. Keep all foods from under the leak until it can be replaced. Observed food splash on clean plastic containers below microwave in deli. Microwave should be moved to prevent splash. The hand sink in the bakery is leaking into a bucket below. Repair. Critical violation at time of inspection: No hand cleanser was available at two hand sinks in the deli. A third sink did have soap. Soap is always needed at hand sinks to allow easy cleaning.
Piqua Country Club, 9812 Country Club Road, Piqua — Follow-up for person-in-charge per shift has taken a level one certification. Manager (chef) just took the test and is going to email the certificate to me.
Union St. Cafe, 251 Union Street, Troy — Follow up for level one food protection certificate for person-in-charge per shift. Observed servsafe certificate for level one training. Ensure all person-in-charge per shift has training. At time of inspection, water leak was not present at vent head.
Culvers, 2100 W. Main St., Troy — The ceiling in the stockroom is leaking to container below. Do not keep any food or containers under leak until it is repaired to prevent contamination.
MU Bulldog Diner, 30 Lowry Drive, West Milton — Work on shelves and under pop machine in front area.
