One person hospitalized in stabbing incident at McKaig complex

TROY — One man was detained by Troy Police Department for stabbing another man in the arm during an altercation at the McKaig Garden apartment complex around 11 a.m. on Wednesday.

The victim, Curtis Conley, was transported to Upper Valley Medical Center before being transferred by CareFlight to Miami Valley Hospital for emergency surgery from the serious stab wound in the arm.

Aaron Jones, 21, of Troy, was questioned in the incident.

Charges are pending.

According to officials, Jones allegedly took off running in the area of Hobart Urban Nature Preserve off of Dorset following the incident. He was apprehended by police on the east end of the park and taken into custody for questioning.

The weapon, a pocket knife, was recovered in the backyard of a residence on Dorset.
