To the Editor:
I am writing this letter to encourage Republican voters of Miami County to vote for Jeannine Pratt for Judge of the Miami County Common Pleas Court, at the May 6, Republican Primary Election. Before recently opening my own law office in Troy, I had the honor and privilege of working with Jeannine Pratt, for 13 years, as a fellow assistant Pposecuting Aatorney at the Miami County Prosecutor’s Office. From my personal observations, I can assure you that Jeannine Pratt possesses a high moral character, and a kind disposition and temperament, is very intelligent, is a person of integrity, and is also very dedicated and committed to the citizens of Miami County. Jeannine Pratt skillfully and effectively handles a very difficult, unpleasant, and often demanding case load in the Miami County Prosecutor’s Office. It is a caseload involving children who have been the victims of abuse and neglect. These children are the most vulnerable members of our society, and these are some of the most difficult cases that go through the prosecutor’s office.
Consistently, over a lengthy career, Jeannine Pratt has successfully prosecuted these complex cases with courage, skill, commitment and conviction. I have never seen Jeannine Pratt lose her temper or lose her cool, even under the most demanding of cases. She has always conducted herself with the utmost professionalism, integrity, competence, dignity, and with respect and courtesy towards others. It is extremely important that we elect a judge with these characteristics.
If Jeannine Pratt is elected as judge, we can count on her upholding the law, and not engaging in judicial activism. We can count on Jeannine Pratt being fair, impartial, free of bias, and to act with the appropriate demeanor and temperament. Jeannine Pratt is my colleague and friend, and I believe that she is the most qualified and best candidate for Judge of the Miami County Common Pleas Court. I encourage you to vote for Jeannine Pratt for Judge of the Miami County Common Pleas Court, at the May 6 Republican Primary Election.
