Browers hold coloring contest

TROY — Brower Stationers has announced its first adult coloring contest to celebrate the return of art supplies to their store.

“Every spring, Brower’s holds a children’s coloring contest for the Troy Strawberry Festival. Along with our new art supplies we also have adult coloring books. So, we decided to hold a contest for adults only with holiday themed pictures,” said Lori Brower, owner.

The prize is a $25 gift certificate to Brower Stationers.

Visit Brower’s Facebook page to find the rules and the three images to choose from. Download one of the images and get started. Any media may be used — paints, colored pencils, art markers, etc.

The contest ends at 2 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 19. Original entries must be delivered to the store at 16 S. Market St. in downtown Troy.

Anyone not on Facebook may call the store and the images and rules will be emailed to them.
