Melissa Ann Hudelson of Piqua and Nathaniel Bradley Walters of Troy were married Saturday, Nov. 9, 2013, at 3:30 p.m. at Grace United Methodist Church in Piqua, Ohio. Pastor Brandon Walters, brother of the groom, officiated.
The bride is the daughter of Dennis and Anna Hudelson of Piqua. She is a 2000 graduate of Piqua High School and a 2004 graduate of Wilmington College, with a bachelor of arts degree. She is currently employed by The Ohio State University Extension, Miami County as an office assistant.
The groom is the son of Pat Walters of Piqua and Larrell and Susan Walters of Troy. He is a 2000 graduate of Troy High School and a 2004 graduate of Bowling Green State University, with a bachelor of science degree. He is currently employed by Edison Community College as the coordinator of client services.
The bride, escorted by her father, wore a taffeta A-line gown with a sweetheart neckline. The gown was accented by a black flowered sash. The bride carried a bouquet of white gerbera daisies. The bridesmaids also carried gerbera daisies in assorted colors.
Brent Wehrley of Pleasant Hill was best man. Groomsmen were Charles Strawser of Troy, Craig Kerns of Richmond, Va., Chris Buirley of Columbus, and Robert Dorsten of Tipp City.
Angie Haning, sister of the bride of Piqua, was matron of honor. Bridesmaids were Emily Myers of Mt. Orab, Natalie Frock of St. Paris, Melissa Chuvalas of Lancaster, and Sarah Flaute of Piqua.
Flower girls were Lilia Haning, niece of the bride and Elizabeth Walters, niece of the groom.
The reception was held at A Learning Place in Piqua.
The couple honeymooned on a cruise to the Bahamas before returning to their home in Troy.
