PIQUA — The following are highlights from the Piqua police reports. All information is provided by Piqua police reports.

HIT SKIP ACCIDENT: A utility pole was knocked down on the 200 block of Spring Street due to a hit skip accident on April 13 at 10:40 a.m.

There was a report of a hit skip accident at Walmart on April 13 at 1:51 p.m. “Elderly female driver fled the scene prior to officer arrival,” according to police reports.

THEFT: A cell phone was reported stolen from an unlocked vehicle on the 600 block of Miami Street on April 13 at 3:46 p.m.

A debit card was reported stolen from the 1100 block of Lake Street on April 13 at 6:37 p.m.

A female was reportedly found using an extension cord to steal electricity for her apartment on the 100 block of Parkridge Place on April 13 at 9:12 p.m.

A cell phone was reported stolen at the Piqua Junior High School on April 14 at 4:17 p.m.

A female reportedly stole items from Elder Beerman on April 14 at 7:05 p.m. Gladys M. Davis, 25, of Piqua was charged with first-degree misdemeanor theft in connection with this incident. Kennietha F. Woods, 24, of Trotwood was also charged with first-degree misdemeanor complicity in connection with this incident.

FOUND PROPERTY: Two diabetic needles were found in the woods behind the Terrace Creek Apartments Office on Maryville Lane on April 13 at 7:22 p.m. They were collected and disposed of.

A small bag of marijuana was reportedly found at Speedway on Scott Drive on April 14 at 2:29 a.m. It was collected and disposed of.

BURGLARY: There was a report of a white male possibly attempting to break into a residence on the 1000 block of Boone Street on April 14 at 1:19 a.m. The subject left prior to officer arrival and was not located.

WARRANT: Bryan L. Fisher, 28, of Piqua was picked up on a warrant on the 400 block of Wood Street on April 14 at 1:30 p.m. The warrant was out of Miami County Common Pleas Court and was for fifth-degree felony illegal use of food stamps. Fisher is being held at the Miami County Jail.

CRIMINAL DAMAGE: Property at Lock 9 Park was reportedly spray painted on April 14.

A complainant suspected a neighbor of letting air out of her tires on the 600 block of Boal Avenue on April 14 sometime between 10 a.m. and 2:33 p.m.

There was a report of several juveniles throwing eggs at a residence on the 200 block of W. Grant Street on April 14 at 8:39 p.m.

DISORDERLY CONDUCT: Two subjects were reportedly arguing outside over cigarettes on the 800 block of Park Avenue on April 14 at 3:37 p.m. They each were warned for disorderly conduct.

ANIMAL COMPLAINT: A dog reportedly jumped a fence and a bit someone on the 300 block of Ridge Street on April 14 at 4:48 p.m. Taylor R. Binkley, 21, of Piqua was cited for dogs running at large and permitting dogs to bite in connection with this incident.

TRAFFIC STOP: An officer conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle for no headlights, and the driver was reportedly found to be operating a vehicle under the influence. The traffic stop occurred in the area of W. Water and N. College streets on April 14 at 2 a.m. Tyler D. Jackson, 27, of Troy was charged with first-degree misdemeanor OVI.
