PIQUA — The following are highlights from the Piqua police reports. All information is provided by Piqua police reports.

THEFT: There was a theft from a vehicle on the 500 block of First Street reported on April 8 at 8:43 a.m.

There was a report of a theft from an unlocked vehicle at the Bent Tree Apartments on Garbry Road on April 8 between 7-8:30 a.m.

Medication was reported stolen from a residence on the 300 block of S. Downing Street on April 8 at 7:52 p.m.

A cell phone was reported stolen from a residence at the Woodgate Apartments on Covington Avenue on April 9 at 3:21 a.m.

Two male subjects reportedly stole from Walmart on April 9 at 6:29 p.m. A male juvenile offender and Jonathan A. Tremaine, 18, of Springcreek Township were charged with theft and complicity in connection with this incident.

A complainant reported that his wife’s purse was stolen while staying at the Piqua Manor Nursing Home on the 1800 block of W. High Street on April 10.

FOUND PROPERTY: There was a bicycle found at the Shell gas station on the 600 block of N. Main Street on April 8.

DISORDERLY CONDUCT: A group of people were reportedly observed outside of Lucky’s Bar on the 100 block of N. Main Street “getting ready to fight” on April 8 at 11:50 p.m. Subjects were warned for disorderly conduct and left the area.

Two neighbors were warned for disorderly conduct after a reported altercation on the 400 block of Gordon Street on April 10 at 6:41 p.m.

CRIMINAL DAMAGE: There was a report of a several windows being broken at a property on the 200 block of Walker Street between April 8-9.

WELFARE CHECK: Tenants at a residence on the 1100 block of S. Roosevelt were found to be heating their home with two propane tanks outside the property and hoses attached to them going inside the house. The tenants stated that “the landlord knew the furnace was not working but has not fixed it,” according to police reports. That information was forwarded to the city’s health department.

SUSPICIOUS: A male was seen looking in the window of a closed business on the 100 block of N. Main Street on April 10 at 2:39 a.m. The subject was reportedly found to be intoxicated and underage. The subject was charged with first-degree misdemeanor underage consumption.

There was a report of someone attempting to open a window on a residence from the outside on the 800 block of W. North Street on April 11 at 1:31 a.m. The area was checked, and there were no subjects located.

There was a report of a male wearing dark clothing and possibly trying to break into the Piqua Food Mart on the 1400 block of South Street on April 11 at 2:38 a.m. The subject was not located.
