PIQUA — The following are highlights from the Piqua police reports. All information is provided by Piqua police reports.
ASSAULT: There was a report of a fight at the Piqua High School on April 4 at 7:30 a.m. A female juvenile was charged with first-degree misdemeanor assault.
FOUND PROPERTY: A BMX bike was found in an alley on the 400 block of N. Wayne Street on April 4.
DISORDERLY CONDUCT: There was a report of a disturbance between a boyfriend and girlfriend on the 600 block of Second Street on April 4 at 4:37 p.m. The male subject “became irate and tried to go back inside towards his girlfriend,” according to police reports. Joseph D. Rausher, 35, of Piqua was charged with first-degree misdemeanor resisting arrest and fourth-degree misdemeanor disorderly conduct in connection with this incident.
BURGLARY: There was a report damage done to a door on the 100 block of Robert M Dave Parkway due to an attempted break-in on April 5 at 11:30 a.m.
THEFT: A bicycle was reported stolen on the 800 block of Park Avenue on April 5 at 2:27 p.m.
A group of juveniles was reportedly seen shoplifting BB guns from Walmart on April 5 at 6:20 p.m.
Medication was reported stolen from the area of S. Roosevelt Avenue and Miami Street on April 5 at 7:22 p.m.
SUSPICIOUS: A resident reported that a suspicious vehicle pulled into his driveway on the 900 block of Young Street while the resident was at work on April 5. A neighbor reportedly witnessed the vehicle, and the resident stated that there should be no vehicles at his house other than his own. He requested extra area checks.
CRIMINAL MISCHIEF: A male juvenile made statements to a complainant “about tampering with cameras at school” at the Piqua Junior High School on April 5.
