PIQUA — The following are highlights from the Piqua police reports. All information is provided by Piqua police reports.
DISTURBANCE: There was a report of a disturbance on College Street on Feb. 22 at 7:48 a.m. where the alleged suspect fled the residence. The subject was located. Shaun J. Haralson, 38, of Piqua was charged with first-degree misdemeanor domestic violence.
There was a report of juveniles involved in a disturbance in the cafeteria of the Piqua High School on Feb. 23 at 7:30 a.m. A male juvenile was charged with fourth-degree misdemeanor disorderly conduct.
There was a report of a disturbance on the 800 block of W. High Street on Feb. 24 at 3:50 a.m. A male reportedly fled the scene. Bryan L. Fisher, 28, of Piqua was charged with fourth-degree felony domestic violence in connection with this incident.
DRUG OVERDOSE: A male reportedly overdosed on heroin on the 700 block of Covington Avenue on Feb. 22 at 11 a.m. The male was revived by squad and transported to the hospital. Cevin R. Branson, 24, of Piqua was charged with fifth-degree felony drug abuse in connection with this incident.
BURGLARY: There was a report of a residence entered on the 500 block of South Street between Feb. 21 at 6 p.m. and Feb. 22 at 4 p.m. Items were gone through and taken.
THEFT: There was a report of shoplifting at Walmart on Feb. 22. The alleged suspects were identified later that day. Matthew A. King, 20, of Piqua was charged with complicity in connection with this incident. Logan McFadden, 20, of Piqua was charged with first-degree misdemeanor theft and fourth-degree misdemeanor criminal trespassing in connection with this incident.
A complainant reported that her mother had her income tax bank card and was refusing to give it back on Feb. 23. The mother reportedly “used the card even after she was warned” to return it by police, according to police reports. Kimberly S. Weber, 38, of Piqua was charged with first-degree misdemeanor misuse of a credit card in connection with this incident.
ASSIST SQUAD: There was a report of a male and female passed out in a vehicle at Speedway on the 1500 block of Covington Avenue on Feb. 23 at 12:48 a.m. Jacob I. Hamilton, 23, of Mount Orab was charged with first-degree misdemeanor physical control of a vehicle.
ANIMAL PROBLEM: A resident on the 1000 block of Covington Avenue was reportedly cited for dogs’ excessive barking on Feb. 23 after being warned multiple times.
