St. Mary Parish Holds Lenten Fish Fries
PIQUA — St. Mary Parish continues their six week Lenten Fish Fries on Friday, Feb. 26, from 5-7 p.m. in the cafeteria of Piqua Catholic School. This is the third of six fish fries held during Lent. They will all take place on Fridays.
The meal consists of all the fish (deep fried or baked) you can eat along with french fries or macaroni and cheese, cole slaw or applesauce, roll and coffee. Soft drinks and desserts are available for an additional charge. Carry outs are also available. Special pricing is available for seniors and those 12 and under.

Lunch with God
PIQUA — St. James Episcopal Church, located at 200 W. High St., will be hosting Lunch with God Sunday, Feb. 28 from 12:30-2 p.m. The meal is free and open to everyone. Come and enjoy a great meal.
Piqua Nazarene Church hosts author, herbalist
PIQUA — The Piqua Nazarene Church, 400 S. Sunset Drive, will host Dawn Combs, ethnobotanist/herbalist/author on Tuesday, March 1 at 7 p.m.
Combs will be speaking on the importance of local medicine in our community. Dawn is the author of Heal Local: 20 Essential Herbs for Do-it-Yourself Home Healthcare.
A farm market will open at 6:30 p.m. This event is free and open to the public.
Sunday Drive to appear in Concert
PIQUA — Sunday Drive, a gospel trio, will perform at Bethel United Methodist Church on Sunday, March 6, 2016 at 6 p.m. Sunday Drive, from Knoxville, Tenn., travels across the country sharing the message of joy and hope in Jesus.
They have won more than 20 Entertainer and Vocal Group of the Year awards and were voted the 2013-2014 ICM Vocal Group of the Year. They have had many #1 songs in several areas and have performed at the Grand Ole Opry, Theme Parks, Riverboats and Festivals, sharing the stage with great artists as the Oak Ridge Boys, Tanya Tucker, Stella Parton and others.
Refreshments will be served following the concert. A freewill offering will be collected.
Bishop to lead worship concert
FLETCHER — On Sunday, March 13, at 9:30 a.m., the Fletcher United Methodist Church will offer a morning worship concert presented by the renowned southern gospel singer/songwriter, Mark Bishop.
Thirty of Bishop’s compositions have landed in the Singing News magazine’s Top 40 Radio Airplay Chart, including 26 Top 20 songs and three No. 1 songs. The public is invited to attend.
Easter Bazaar is coming to Gettysburg Cardinal Center
GETTYSBURG — The Friends of the Cardinal Center (Gettysburg School), a 501c3 non-profit corporation, will host a East Bazaar at the Gettysburg Cardinal Center on Saturday, March 19, from 9 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.
Shoppers will find a wide selection of craft items, bake goods, and specialty item. There will be door prizes to win and concession available for busy shoppers.
The Easter Bunny will be there from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. to see all of the children and the young at heart are encouraged to bring their cameras and get picture taken with the Easter Bunny.
There is no charge for admittance. Handicap parking is available from the Auld Street side of the building.
The Cardinal Center is located at 260 E. Main St. in Gettysburg.
