36 crash injures two

BRADFORD – A single-vehicle crash on U.S. 36 at the intersection of Greenville Falls-Clayton Road left two injured on Monday.

The crash occurred around 4:45 p.m. when the driver of an eastbound vehicle lost control, at what was described as “a high rate of speed” and crashed into a gully, with the vehicle landing on its top. The victims were reportedly trapped in their overturned vehicle for a short period of time.

Rescue squads from both Bradford and Covington responded to transport the two victims for treatment.

One of the victims, a 26-year-old male was then transferred from Upper Valley Medical Center aboard CareFlight.

The crash in under investigation by the Miami County Sheriff’s Office.
