PIQUA — The following are highlights from the Piqua police reports. All information is provided by Piqua police reports.

SUSPICIOUS: A male subject was reportedly seen taking pictures of the Mutual Federal building on the 100 block of N. Sunset Drive on Jan. 13 at 11:26 a.m. The male was gone before officer arrival.

THEFT: A complainant reported that someone stole his radio and GPS unit out of his vehicle on the 1200 Covington Avenue on Jan. 12 at 4:20 p.m.

A complainant reported on Jan. 13 that someone had gotten her credit card number and was making charges to it in Sioux Falls, South Dakota.

A female reportedly stole merchandise from Ulbrich’s Market on the 400 block of S. Wayne Street on Jan. 13 at 9:18 p.m. “The suspect left in a vehicle and struck a parked vehicle while fleeing the scene,” according to police reports. Julie A. Jenkins, 36, of Piqua was charged with theft in connection with this incident.

There was a report of shoplifting at Elder Beerman on Jan. 14 at 1:17 p.m.

There was a report of a laptop and a Bluetooth speaker stolen from a vehicle on the 600 block of Second Street on Jan. 14 at 4 p.m.

DISTURBANCE: A male reportedly wanted his girlfriend to leave his residence on the 500 block of Kitt Street on Jan. 13 at 8 p.m. The male wanted the female to “be made to leave” and the female wanted the officer “to check out his drugs,” according to police reports. The female reportedly brought out “drug instruments and some drugs.” The male alleged they belonged to the female and vice versa. The female left and the alleged drugs and drug instruments were confiscated to be destroyed.

DISORDERLY CONDUCT: A subject was reportedly yelling at a hotel clerk at the Budgetel Inn and Suites on the 900 block of Scott Drive on Jan. 14 at 4:16 a.m. The subject was told to leave.

BURGLARY: There was a burglary reported on the 300 block of Ellerman Street on Jan. 14 at 2:47 p.m. According to police reports, there were no signs of forced entry, but a 32-inch television and a tablet were reported stolen.

ASSAULT: There was a report of two adult females fighting on the 300 block of E. Greene Street on Jan. 14 at 4:46 p.m. One female was reportedly charged with assault.
