PIQUA — A man wanted in Piqua for aggravated robbery was reportedly caught Sunday evening in Hardin County. Steven A Bixler, 32, is currently being held in the Miami County Jail on $100,000 bond. He was arraigned Monday morning on the charge of first-degree felony aggravated robbery.

An arrest warrant was issued last week for Steven A. Bixler, 32, in connection with the robbery of the Spring Thru Drive Thru, located at 225 Spring St., on Wednesday, Dec. 30. Bixler is a white male, 5’9” tall, weighing 170 pounds with brown hair and blue eyes.

According to the Piqua Police Department, Bixler was believed to be homeless and possibly armed.

The Spring Thru Drive Thru was reportedly robbed by an armed suspect on Wednesday, Dec. 30. According to Chief of Police Bruce Jamison, a white male entered the business, brandished a knife, and demanded money at around 6:20 p.m.

The suspect fled on foot after taking an undisclosed amount of cash.

Jamison said the suspect was described as “a white male, believed to be younger, late teens or early 20’s, wearing a blue bandana over his face, and a blue or a gray hoodie.”
