Man wanted for armed robbery

PIQUA — An arrest warrant has been issued for Steven A. Bixler, 32, in connection with the robbery of the Spring Thru Drive Thru, located at 225 Spring St. on Wednesday, Dec. 30. Bixler is a white male, 5’09” tall, weighing 170 pounds with brown hair and blue eyes.

According to the Piqua Police Department, Bixler is believed to be homeless and it is unknown where he might be residing at this time. Anyone who sees Bixler should notify their local law enforcement agency and should not approach him as he may be armed.

The Spring Thru Drive Thru was reportedly robbed by an armed suspect on Wednesday, Dec. 30. According to Chief of Police Bruce Jamison, a white male entered the business, brandished a knife, and demanded money at around 6:20 p.m.

The suspect fled on foot after taking an undisclosed amount of cash.

Jamison said the suspect was described as “a white male, believed to be younger, late teens or early 20’s, wearing a blue bandana over his face, and a blue or a gray hoodie.”

The robbery is still under investigation.
