PIQUA — A man is wanted by the Piqua police after allegedly violating a protection order and stealing a car on Monday.
According to Piqua police reports, a female reported that her estranged husband, Marlon D. Walker, 40, of Troy, came to her residence and was in violation of a civil protection order (CPO) before allegedly stealing her vehicle. The vehicle is reportedly a silver Chrysler 300 with the Ohio registration GCD3801.
The victim advised that she had taken her daughter inside the home before going back outside to secure her vehicle when she saw Walker get in the vehicle and drive away. That was at at 4 p.m.
Later that day, Walker reportedly came back at approximately 6 p.m. According to Piqua police reports, the victim advised that she saw him near the shed in her backyard trying hide. She told him that he was not supposed to be there and went back into her home. Walker followed her into the home, but left when the female called the police. Walker was reportedly witnessed leaving in the stolen vehicle.
Walker is being charged with two counts of first-degree misdemeanor violation of a CPO, one count of first-degree misdemeanor aggravated trespassing, and one count of fourth-degree felony theft.
A warrant was issued for Walker’s arrest.
