PIQUA — The following are highlights from the Piqua police reports. All information is provided by Piqua police reports.

THEFT: A pistol was reportedly taken from a vehicle overnight between Oct. 6-7 on Kiowa Court.

A complainant reported that her vehicle had been gone through overnight between Oct. 6-7 on the 300 block of Commercial Street.

A vehicle was broken into overnight on the 300 block of South Street between Oct. 6-7. ID, cash, and a debit card were reportedly stolen.

A car on the 2100 block of Navajo Trail was gone through overnight between Oct. 6-7. It was reportedly left unlocked. Loose change was stolen.

There was a theft from a vehicle overnight between Oct. 6-7 on the 500 block of S. Roosevelt Avenue.

SUSPICIOUS: A needle was found in an alley on the 1400 block of W. Grant Street on Oct. 7 at 9 a.m.

There was a report of a woman going through mail in a mail truck who was not wearing a U.S. mail uniform in the area of Wood and S. Main Streets on Oct. 7 at 10:20 a.m. She was not located.

DISTURBANCE: There was a report of a disturbance at Dollar General on Looney Road on Oct. 7 at 10 a.m.

ANIMAL COMPLAINT: Two children were reportedly bitten by a dog at their bus stop in the area of Cedarbrook Drive and W. Grant Street on Oct. 7 between 7:30-8:30 a.m.

BURGLARY: Two juveniles were reported missing from their residences and were later reportedly found in a vacant house on the 600 block of S. Roosevelt Avenue on Oct. 7 at 11 a.m. They were charged with criminal trespassing.

There was a report of a burglary on the 300 block of Harrison Street on Oct. 7 between 8 a.m. and 4:24 p.m. According to police reports, there were no signs of forced entry and the residence was locked. Nothing was reported stolen. Property was reportedly damaged inside of the residence.

SEARCH WARRANT: Police executed a drug search warrant at a residence on the 600 block of W. Greene Street on Oct. 7 at 11:30 a.m. According to police reports, several items were seized such as needles and drug paraphernalia. One subject was arrested on a drug-related warrant out of Montgomery County. Charges are reportedly pending on the residents.

FOUND PROPERTY: A bicycle was found on the 1500 block of Covington Avenue outside of R Pets on Oct. 7 at noon.

CRIMINAL DAMAGE: A vehicle was entered overnight and an unknown substance was found on the seat. This occurred on the 600 block of Adams Street between Oct. 6-7.

DISORDERLY CONDUCT: A complainant reported that her daughter was assaulted at school on Oct. 7. There were reportedly witnesses and a video of the incident at the school.

HIT SKIP ACCIDENT: A vehicle was struck overnight between Oct. 6-7 in the parking lot of Bent Tree Apartments on Garbry Road.

ASSAULT: There was a report of an alleged assault on the 800 block of South Street at 7:12 p.m. Skyler D. Butt, 20, of Piqua was cited for second-degree misdemeanor obstructing official business in connection with this incident.
