Larry Coffing, top center, plays baritone with the Ohio State University Alumni Marching Band at Ohio Stadium on Saturday. Coffing is a graduate of Miami East High School and was a school bus driver for Piqua City Schools for many years, in addition to being engaged in farming. The Buckeye Alumni band celebrated the 50th anniversary of “Hang on Sloopy” along with current band members and an appearance by Rick Derringer of The McCoys during the game.
