SUV strikes Wendy’s

Medical condition believed to have caused accident

TROY — If you are hankering for a Frosty, you’ll have to use the drive through service at one local fast food place in Troy.

The Wendy’s restaurant located on Archer Drive, off of State Route 55, was struck by a SUV early Friday morning.

Megan Wuebker, 26, of Russia, ran a red light at the intersection, lost control of the vehicle and crashed into the corner of the restaurant in the dining room area. Webker was transported to Upper Valley Medical Center for non-life threatening injuries.

According to police, they believe Wuebker suffered a medical condition at the time of the incident.

The dining room will remain closed for two week for repairs, although the drive through will remain open for customers.
