PIQUA — The following are highlights from the Piqua police reports. All information is provided by Piqua police reports.
CRIMINAL DAMAGE: A complainant advised on March 4 that sometime in the last four months someone had placed numerous small rocks in the tailpipe of her vehicle on Drexel Avenue. She had no suspects.
BURGLARY: A residence at the Red Roof Inn and Suites was forced open and a 55-inch Samsung television was reportedly stolen by a black male subject on March 4 at approximately 2:30 p.m.
A complainant stated someone broke into his residence and stole $3,500 in cash from a safe on Clark Avenue. Officer is investigating possible suspects.
HIT SKIP ACCIDENT: A complainant said someone struck their vehicle and left the scene on Amherst Avenue overnight between March 3-4. Victim did not have a description of the vehicle.
DISTURBANCE: A disturbance was reported at a residence on First Street on March 4 at around 5:15 p.m.
A disturbance was reported at a residence on Elmwood Circle on March 4 at 11:10 p.m. Officers were unable to determine the primary aggressor.
A disturbance was reported at a residence on Broadway Drive on March 5 at approximately 9 p.m.
THEFT: The caller reported his vehicle was stolen from a family member’s residence on Second Street on March 4 at approximately 7 p.m. The family member reported the vehicle stolen to the caller.
A caller advised money was stolen from her account on March 4. The caller advised she believes her account was hacked. Investigation is pending.
A subject reported a double baby stroller and a “Deaf Child” sign was taken from their front porch on McKinley Avenue overnight between March 4-5.
A subject reported the title to her vehicle had been stolen on Covington Avenue at the Woodgate Apartments on March 5 at 3:25 p.m.
SUSPICIOUS: A complainant advised she saw someone crawl through her neighbor’s window on March 4 at around 7:30 p.m. The complainant was able to reach the neighbor who advised he crawled through the window because he forgot his keys.
UNRULY JUVENILE: A complainant advised her grandson was out of control and making threats at a residence on Clark Avenue on March 4 at 8:30 p.m. A male juvenile was cited for unruly juvenile.
TRESPASSING: A man wanted a woman to leave a residence at the Red Roof Inn and Suites on March 4 at 8:30 p.m. The woman left at the officer’s request.
TRAFFIC CRASH: There was a report of a two-vehicle accident with no reported injuries on East Ash Street over the bridge on March 4 at 9 p.m.
DISORDERLY CONDUCT: An intoxicated male was found walking down the street in the area of Caldwell and West Ash streets on March 5 at 12:45 a.m. This male subject was reportedly so intoxicated he was stumbling into the roadway. He was identified and transported home.
