MIAMI COUNTY — The Miami County Sheriff Office detectives have issued felony warrants for two suspects for their involvement in the theft of silver coins from a residence.

Both suspects have been taking the coins to businesses in Miami, Shelby and Montgomery counties in attempts to sell them.

Detectives have warrants for Nicole Fornara, 31, for theft and Sarena Smith, 27, both of Piqua, for receiving stolen property.

Anyone having any information on the whereabouts of either suspect is asked to notify the Miami County Communication Center at (937) 440-9911 or Det. Todd Cooper at (937) 440-3965, Ext. 6632. Anonymous tips can be left on the sheriff’s office website at www.miamicountysheriff.org.
