PIQUA — With the holiday quickly approaching, you won’t want to miss this special YWCA trip on Wednesday, Dec. 7, with travel escorts Leesa Baker and Beth Royer-DeLong. The trip will include three special stops: Nativity Collection at The University of Dayton, Springboro’s La Comedia Dinner Theatre, and Grandma’s Gardens on the way home.

“The stop at UD will be a self-guided leisure tour of a portion of the historic nativity collections on display there,” said Royer-DeLong, YWCA program director. “Guides will be on hand to answer questions and give details of the huge display.”

The next stop will give guests a taste of Broadway with the famous holiday classic, “A Christmas Carol,” at La Comedia. “The visuals and heartwarming songs of this musical along with their famous luncheon buffet will continue filling you with the holiday spirit,” said Royer-DeLong.

The award-winning, 14-acre Grandma’s Gardens is known for its displays of a variety of holiday themes for all celebrations, along with a quaint shop with gifts to please everyone on your list.

All gratuities for lunch and the bus driver are included in the trip fee. Fees are available for both members and non-members. Deadline for registration and payment is Tuesday, Oct. 25.

For more information or to register, stop at the YWCA at 418 N. Wayne St., Piqua, or call (937) 773-6626.
