TROY — The Troy man who was struck by a van in the parking lot of Tim Hortons on Monday is still listed in critical condition.

According to a spokesperson for Miami Valley Hospital in Dayton, Rick Woods, 31, of Troy, is still listed as a patient in critical condition as of Friday.

The Troy Police Department and medics responded to the 700 block of West Main Street on Monday on a report that Woods was struck by a van in the parking lot of the restaurant.

Woods was transported from the scene by CareFlight and taken to MVH.

According to officials, the driver of the van, Stephanie Fox, 42, of Troy, was driving away from the carry-out window to exit the business from the Adams Street entrance. Woods allegedly walked out from behind some trees next to the building and was hit by the van.

The Troy Police Department has not filed any charges related to the incident pending Wood’s condition changing, and the investigation remains open.
