PIQUA — A Piqua man spent the night in jail after being picked up on two outstanding warrants.
Robert C. Foster, 34, was charged with second-degree felony burglary in January 2016 in Troy, and first-degree misdemeanor receiving stolen property in April 2015 in Piqua.
According to Miami County Municipal Court records, Foster is suspected of breaking into a residence on the 1100 block of South Crawford Street in Troy in June 2015 and stealing a laptop. There was damage reportedly done to the residence. A warrant for his arrest was later filed in January.
In Piqua, Foster is accused of being in possession of a stolen PlayStation. According to court records, Foster reportedly sold a PlayStation to Cashland with a serial number matching the one reported stolen. The incident originally took place in August 2014. Foster was charged in April 2015, and a warrant was filed for his arrest in June 2015.
Foster was released on his own recognizance on Monday. His next court date is scheduled for July 19.

• There was a reported disturbance between several people in the area of Wood and South Downing streets on Thursday at around 8:15 p.m. David L. Asher, 36, of Piqua, was charged with first-degree misdemeanor carrying a concealed weapon in connection with this incident.
Asher spent the night in jail before being arraigned and released on Friday. His next court date is scheduled for Aug. 17.
• Two Piqua residents were charged on Thursday in connection with a drug-related search warrant executed at a residence on the 900 block of Park Avenue on July 1. Michael J. Bradley, 27, of Piqua, and Brooke A. Bradley, 23, of Piqua, were charged with fourth-degree misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia in connection with the incident. They are each scheduled to be arraigned on Wednesday, July 13.
Michael J. Bradley is also facing a charge of first-degree misdemeanor theft from May 2016, unrelated to the drug charge. This incident reportedly took place in Tipp City on the 400 block of Richard Glen.
