Firefighter for a day

Mike Ullery | Daily Call Piqua United Way director Sean Ford and his son Spencer, 9, top, sit down to lunch with Piqua Fire Department members on Friday. Ford had the winning bid at last year’s Piqua Area Chamber of Commerce Auction on a “Firefighter for a Day” that he shared with his son. The day was made extra special for the Fords when they boarded a Piqua fire engine and visited Ford’s dad, Robert, who was a member of the Piqua Fire Department from 1966 to 1991.
