CRIMINAL DAMAGE: A vehicle was egged on South Street overnight between June 28-29.
A vehicle was egged on Young Street overnight between midnight and noon on June 29.
A resident reported a child had poked a hole in a pool cover on West High Street on June 29 at 4:12 p.m.
A window on a vehicle was broken out on West Ash Street on June 29 between 8 a.m. and 4 p.m.
A vehicle was egged on Forest Avenue overnight between June 29-30. No damage was seen.
There was a report of an open door to an apartment on North College Street and the furniture was overturned on June 30 at 6:54 p.m.
A resident reported that his front door was kicked in on Caldwell Street on July 1 at 1:30 a.m. No items were reported missing, according to police reports.
THEFT: A junior set of golf clubs were reported stolen from a porch on Nicklin Avenue on June 29 at 11:17 a.m.
A battery and battery cables were reported stolen from a truck on South Street overnight between June 29-30.
CRASH: There was a traffic accident reported in the area of Wilson Avenue and South Street on June 29 at 1:40 p.m. A driver was cited for a right-of-way violation when turning left.
FOUND PROPERTY: A piece of luggage was found in the front yard of a residence on Forest Avenue on June 29. It was taken into police property.
TRESPASSING: There was a disturbance reported at a residence on West Water Street on June 29 at 3:40 p.m. A female subject was warned for trespassing.
FRAUD: A caller reported someone using her credit card online to make fradulent purchases on June 29. The investigation is still ongoing.
FIREWORKS: People were seen setting off firecrackers in the street on New Haven Road on June 29 at 6:55 p.m.
Fireworks were heard in the area of Clark and McKinley avenues on June 30 at 11:55 p.m.
PAROLE VIOLATION: A suspect was arrested on a parole violation on S. Main Street on June 29 at 8 p.m. Randy J. Hatfield, 49, of Piqua, was charged with first-degree misdemeanor obstructing official business and a fifth-degree felony parole violation in connection with this incident.
DRUG OFFENSE: A suspect was found to have drug paraphernalia on him on Cherry Street on June 29 at 9:19 p.m. Johnathan I. Reineke, Jr., 25, of Piqua, was charged with second-degree misdemeanor possession of a drug abuse instrument in connection with this incident.
Two adults were found sleeping in a car at the intersection of Covington Avenue and S. Sunset Drive on July 1 at 4:25 a.m. An adult male was charged with possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia in connection with this incident.
DISORDERLY CONDUCT: There was a report of a man and woman arguing on Parkridge Place on June 30 at 12:35 a.m. The man was warned for disorderly conduct, and he later left.
There was a disorderly conduct complaint on New Haven Road on June 30 at 1:44 p.m. A male subject was outside yelling, according to police reports.
SUSPICIOUS: A car appeared to have been entered on Amherst Avenue on June 30 at 3 a.m. Items were thrown about. Nothing was reported stolen.
Someone reportedly went through an unlocked vehicle on New Haven Road overnight between June 29-30. Nothing was taken.
TRESPASSING: A truck was reportedly parked illegally down by the river on E. Main Street on June 30 at 2 p.m. The driver was warned for trespassing.
HIT SKIP: There was a report of a hit skip accident on Young Street on June 30 at 9:44 p.m.
WARRANT: A female subject with a warrant was located at a residence on South Street on June 30 at 9:45 p.m. Amber D. Cotterman, 28, of Piqua, is facing three counts of first-degree misdemeanor probation violations in connection with this incident.
