Flip Flop Sunday
PIQUA — Westminster Presbyterian Church, 325 W. Ash St., Piqua, will have Flip Flop Sunday at 10:30 a.m. on Sunday, June 26.
An informal worship service will be held along with a free brunch-style meal. Dress will be casual. Come as you are and bring some friends; newcomers welcome.

PIQUA — St. James Episcopal Church, 200 W. High St., will be hosting Lunch with God Sunday, June 26, from 12:30 p.m. to 2 p.m. The meal is free and open to everyone. Come and enjoy a great meal.
Vacation Bible schools set
• PIQUA — People can now sign their children up for Vacation Bible School at St. James Episcopal Church between now and June 17, Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to noon. The Vacation Bible School will be held June 28, 29, and 30, from 6-7:30 p.m.

• PIQUA — Amazing Grace Day Camp and Vacation Bible School “The Jesus Way” will be held Monday, June 27, through Friday, July 1, at St John’s Lutheran Church, 248 Wood St., Piqua.
Day Camp is a week-long camp from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. for those entering first grade through seventh grade without needing to stay away from home.
Energetic and enthusiastic counselors from Lutheran Outdoor Ministries of Ohio (LOMO) lead the day camp in partnership with St John’s Lutheran Church, Piqua.
VBS is from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. for ages three through entering kindergarten.
Each day of camp and VBS is filled with activities that include crafts, singing, games, sports, Bible study, and special events.
Lunch is provided for the Day Campers and there will be a Family Night Thursday with ice cream treats!

• COVINGTON — The Covington Community Vacation Bible School will be held next week June 20-24 at Covington Church of the Brethren. 101 N. Wall Street, Covington. The theme this year is: “Deep Sea Discovery” God Is with Me Wherever I go! It is for children in third through sixth grade.
It will be held 9 a.m. to noon Monday through Friday. Monday registration starts at 8:30 a.m.
On Friday evening for the children’s families, grandparents, and friends, we will have a “picnic meal” at 5:30 p.m. in the basement of the church, the children’s program will follow.
Casstown Church offers annual reading program for youth
CASSTOWN — Casstown United Methodist Church will be offering its annual reading program again this summer for youth entering kindergarten through sixth grade thanks to the “Live Free” grant provided by the Miami Valley District of the United Methodist Church.
The summer program, which highlights reading skill development lead by college students and church members, will also include crafts, games, music and tips for healthy living. A tasty, healthy lunch and an afternoon snack will also be included.
The program will be offered once a week for six weeks on Tuesdays, from 11 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. beginning on June 21 at the Casstown UMC, 102 Center Street in Casstown.
