PIQUA — The following are highlights from the Piqua police reports. All information is provided by Piqua police reports.
CRIMINAL MISCHIEF: A vehicle was broken into on Young Street overnight between June 16-17.
A vehicle was entered on Miami Street overnight between June 16-17.
A vehicle’s tire was slashed on Wood Street on June 17. It was reported at 1 p.m. that day.
A vehicle on Franklin Street was damaged after an attempted break-in. It was reported on June 17 at 6:15 p.m.
A complainant reported damage done to the back door of his home on Gordon Street. The damage occurred sometime between 6 p.m. on June 16 and 1 p.m. on June 17.
SUSPICIOUS: There was a report of a male subject allegedly attempting to enter vehicles on Parkridge Place on June 17 at 8 a.m.
A white truck parked at Family Video after hours was reported on June 18 at 12:40 a.m. It was unoccupied.
There was a report of three subjects trying to break into cars on Marwood Drive on June 18 at 2:47 a.m. They were not located.
SEARCH WARRANT: A drug-related search warrant was executed at a residence on Garbry Road on June 17 at 10:40 a.m. A male subject was charged with obstructing official business and resisting arrest in connection with this incident.
FOUND PROPERTY: A resident found a BB pistol on Ann Street on June 17 and turned it over to police. Police disposed of the BB pistol.
A syringe was found in a yard on South Street on June 18 at 9:38 a.m. Police disposed of the syringe.
CRASH: There was a report of a two-vehicle traffic accident in the area of Virginia Street and Park Avenue on June 17 at 7:48 p.m. One of the drivers had minor injuries and was taken to UVMC.
There was a report of a traffic accident on North College Street on June 18 at 1 p.m. No injuries were reported.
TRESPASSING: Juveniles were reportedly found behind the Piqua Board of Education office on Ash Street on June 17 at 9:20 p.m. They were warned for trespassing.
DISORDERLY CONDUCT: There was a report of juveniles playing in the street on Dover Avenue with smoke bombs on June 17 at 11:14 p.m.
BURGLARY: A television and a game console were reported stolen from a residence on Lindsey Street on June 18 at 4:20 a.m.
UNRULY JUVENILE: A juvenile was reportedly found to be in possession of tobacco and was charged with a tobacco offense involving children, a fourth-degree misdemeanor.
