PIQUA — The following are highlights from the Piqua police reports. All information is provided by Piqua police reports.
TRESPASSING: A complainant reported that an old acquaintance came to his home on New Street, opened a window, and yelled at the resident about a ride to work on June 15 at 8:28 a.m. The suspect was warned about trespassing.
CRIMINAL DAMAGE: There was a report of tires being slashed on Wood Street overnight between June 14-15.
A shed on Cottage Avenue was hit by an unknown vehicle on June 15 at 6:30 p.m.
A house was egged on Lindsey Street on June 16.
FOUND PROPERTY: A needle was found on Virginia Street on June 15 at 9:43 a.m. Police disposed of the needle.
A bicycle was found behind a business on Water Street on June 16 at 10:11 a.m.
A bicycle was found in an alley on Ash Street on June 16 at 1 p.m.
CRASH: There was a report of a traffic accident with injury on Ash Street on June 15 at 11:35 a.m.
THEFT: An unlocked vehicle was broken into and items were reportedly taken on Commerce Drive on June 15 between 10:30 a.m. and 11:10 a.m.
A laptop was reportedly stolen from a residence on Park Avenue on June 15 between noon and 12:40 p.m.
A gun was reportedly stolen from a residence on Summit Street in the last week. The report was made on June 15.
A push mower was reportedly stolen from a residence on Broadway Street on Broadway sometime between June 13-15.
A confederate flag was reportedly stolen from a porch on Park Avenue on June 16 at 2:55 a.m.
Two bicycles were reportedly stolen from property on Echo Lake Drive overnight between June 15-16.
Unlocked vehicles on Forest Avenue were entered overnight between June 15-16.
A male subject reportedly attempted to steal money from a concession stand at Pitsenbarger Park on June 16 at 8:53 p.m.
A bicycle was reportedly stolen on Blaine Avenue on June 16 between 8:30 p.m. and 9:16 p.m.
ASSIST SQUAD: There was a report of a possible drug overdose on Ash Street on June 15 at 6:24 p.m. The patient was taken to the Upper Valley Medical Center.
There was a report of a possible drug overdose on Wood Street on June 16 at 3 p.m. While on scene, officers discovered another possible overdose. “The second subject was found to have drugs and drug related items on his person,” according to police reports.
HIT SKIP ACCIDENT: There was a report of a hit skip accident on South Wayne Street on June 16 at noon.
DISORDERLY CONDUCT: There was a report of two subjects physically fighting on South Downing Street on June 17 at 2 a.m. It was unknown who started the fight, and the subjects each declined pursuing charges.
