Pursuit ends with arrest

PIQUA — One person is in custody after a pursuit that began in Piqua ended in Shelby County early this morning.

Everett James Williams Booth, 38, reportedly refused to stop for a sheriff’s deputy in the area of Greene and College streets. Booth has been charged with third-degree felony failure to comply and eluding, first-degree misdemeanor OVI, and first-degree misdemeanor driving under the suspicion of OVI.

Booth is also facing five minor misdemeanor charges of speeding, reckless operation, failure to control, running a stop sign, and not yielding to traffic control devices.
