PIQUA — The Annual FFA Spring Plant Sale at Upper Valley Career Center begins today. Hanging baskets, flats, potted plants and custom planters are being offered.

Horticulture and Landscape Management instructor John Kreitzer is pleased with the stock his students have produced in preparation of the sale. “The greenhouse is filled with a really nice selection of perennials, annuals, vegetables, herbs and specialty plants. The students have done a great job,” Kreitzer said.

The greenhouse is located behind the main instructional building on Looney Road in Piqua. The sale operates week days from 8:30 to 11 a.m. and from 12:15 to 2:30 p.m. as supplies last. Proceeds from the sale benefit the Upper Valley Career Center FFA Chapter.
