• EAT OUT: The Tipp City Senior Citizens will eat out at 4:30 p.m. at Applebee’s, Troy. Euchre will begin at the center at 6:30 p.m.
• HOLIDAY BAZAAR: The Troy Church of the Nazarene, 1200 Barnhart Road, Troy, will offer its 23rd annual holiday bazaar from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. More than 50 crafters will display a variety of items. • HOLIDAY SHOW: The annual Christmas Holiday Show, sponsored by the Valley Arts and Crafts Club, will be offered from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. during Tipp City’s Winter Yuletide Gathering in the basement of the Monroe Township Building, corner of Third and Main streets. This show features local artists with their handmade items including items in wood, fiber arts of all kinds, glass, polymer clay, jewelry, ceramics, candles and many other art forms. Santa will make an appearance from noon to 4 p.m. Food will be for lunch and snacks while visiting the show.

• CHRISTMAS BAZAAR: St. Teresa Catholic Church, 6925 W. US Route 36, Covington, will be holding its annual Christmas bazaar from 9 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. There will be vendors, baked goods, a massage therapist and a raffle. Many unique hand-crafted items will be on display.

• OPEN HOUSE: The East Stillwater Valley Railroad will be open to the public from 1-5 p.m. at 137 S. Wenrick St., Covington. The railroad occupies roughly two thirds of a 27-foot-by-69-foot basement.

• HOLIDAY COOKING: The Miami County Park District will hold its Healthy Holiday Cooking class from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Lost Creek Reserve, 2385 E. St. Rt. 41 east of Troy. This new program is designed to introduce people to simple healthy alternatives to classic holiday recipes. Participants will prepare and enjoy the recipes using local produce and learn about the health benefits of the ingredients used. Pre-registration required. Class fee $5. • MEMORIAL DEDICATION: The new Veterans Memorial at Troy-Miami County Public Library will be dedicated at 5:30 p.m. The memorial is made possible by the contributions of many generous organizations and individuals in the community.

• TINKER TUESDAY: Join the staff at the Oakes-Beitman Library for Tinker Tuesdays at 3 p.m. at the library. • PARK PROGRAM: Jim Metz from the Upper Valley Career Center and his students will share their experiences from a recent study trip to Yellowstone and Grand Tetons National Parks at 6:30 p.m. at the Piqua Public Library. This free program will highlight the career exploration these Environmental Occupations Program students enjoyed, as well as the sights and scenery of the two great parks. Students will discuss wildlife they encountered and studied, the different ecosystems they traveled through, and the fascinating geothermal activities they studied and viewed.

• COMEDY SHOW: Good Ole Boy Comedy returns to Edison State Community College’s Piqua campus from 6:30-8:30 p.m. for a night of family fun. This side-splitting performance is open to the community and offered free of charge. The Good Ole Boy Comedy group includes local members, Lucas “Freakin” Williams, Jeff Bartlett, Thomas Gurrn, Darron Docie, and Tim Lucas who have been putting on hilarious shows across Ohio for the last six years. • HEALING PROGRAM: Residents who have lost a child or other loved one to suicide, drug overdose or other unexpected loss are invited to attend a Healing from Unexpected Loss program from 10 a.m. to noon at the Emerson Center, Edison State Community College, Piqua. The program is being sponsored by the Tri-County Board of Recovery and Mental Health Services in partnership with NAMI | Darke, Miami and Shelby Counties and the Miami County Chapter of The Compassionate Friends, and in conjunction with International Survivors of Suicide Loss Day, a program of the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention. • CELEBRATION: The churches of Pleasant Hill will offer a Thanksgiving celebration at 7 p.m., hosted by the Brethren in Christ Church, 101 W. Hill St. There will be singing, special music and scripture reading. The Thanksgiving message will be given by the Rev. Nick Beam, pastor of the Church of the Brethren.
