Eric Jerardi, left, performs with his band at Rock Piqua on Saturday. Over 1,000 music fans came to Lock 9 Park to watch Jerardi, along with opening band Satellite Flight perform in the first of three Rock Piqua! summer concerts hosted by Mainstreet Piqua and the Piqua Arts Council.

Smoke rises from the spot where more than 300 United States flags are being properly retired during a Flag Retirement Ceremony at the John Johnston Farm & Indian Agency on Saturday. Also at the Farm was the Miami Valley Corvette Club car show, seen on the right, and the dedication of the new Education Center at the museum, right.
