Criminal damage: Police responded to Mote Park Community Center, 635 Gordon St., after lights were busted out and an area was spray painted.

Theft: Police responded to the 300 block of Commercial Street after a former roommate stole something from a residence.

Theft: Police responded to Staunton Street Storage, 735 Staunton St., after several large metal beams were stolen. The matter remains under investigation.

Theft: A citizen showed up at the police department and reported a “white short female in her early 30s, medium build, with brown hair and a heavy brown jacket” stole his iPad 2 from the backseat. The victim said he gave the woman a ride from CVS to West Greene Street.

Search warrant: Police conducted a search warrant at 120 E. North St. for drugs and arrested a female resident on two counts of drug possession after heroin and cocaine were found.

April 15

Assault: Police responded to the 2900 block of Delaware Circle after a woman picked up her kids from the home of her mother-in-law. The two women got into a fight.

Theft: Police responded to the 100 block of Parkridge Plaza after a caller reported her kids’ father stayed at her home for a few nights and she believes he stole her kids’ piggy bank, which had about $150 inside.

Theft: Police responded to the 600 block of West High Street after a laptop computer was stolen from a house during the day.
