PIQUA — Join YWCA travel escorts Leesa Baker and Lynn Marroletti for a trip to Sauder Village in Archbold on Wednesday, May 7. Departure time is 8 a.m. with return at 6:30 p.m. The trip is open to the public and prices are available for YWCA members and non-members.
“Sauder Village is a unique area, stepping back in time to see the daily rural life of the 19th and 20th centuries,” said Marroletti, YWCA Piqua’s program director. “Trip participants will experience history up close through activities and demonstrations by costumed interpreters.”
This historical site is Ohio’s largest living history village and features costumed guides and craftsmen in more than 40 historic homes, shops and community buildings. Travelers will be provided with experiences rich in history, hospitality, creativity and fun while touring the village.
Lunch will be a delicious home-style meal prepared and served right in the village with extra time to shop, explore and indulge in a bakery on site.
All gratuities for lunch and bus driver are included. A deposit is required upon registration and the balance is due by Friday, April 11.
For more information on trip fees or to register, stop at the YWCA Piqua at 418 N. Wayne St., call (937) 773-6626 or e-mail email@example.com.
