To the Editor:

I would like to thank the citizens of Piqua who donated toward our 2014 “Scouting for Food” campaign. The food drive helps restock Piqua food pantries. If you would still like to help, you can place food donations in the food barrel at the front of Piqua Kroger through Sunday, March 23. If you would like to help financially, please contact me at (937) 773-5330 and I can direct you to a food pantry of your choice.

The groups that participated this year were: Boy Scout troops 76, 295 and 344, and Cub Scout packs 76, 295 and 344. Several area Girl Scout troops also helped. These young people worked very hard two weekends. I would like to thank the Piqua Daily Call for their coverage and Piqua Kroger for allowing us to put a food barrel in their store.
