An Ohio Department of Transportation truck with a fresh load of salt heads into a barn at the ODOT outpost on Looney Road on Tuesday afternoon to await the call to begin treating roadways when our latest round of snow begins.

A flock of Canada Geese, and a few Mallard ducks feeds in a field of corn stubble near Piqua High School on Tuesday afternoon. By this time on Wednesday, it is expected that the geese will have far more difficulty in finding the corn to feed on as a new blanket of snow will be covering the ground.
