PIQUA – The City of Piqua is proud to announce that registration is now open for the fifth Piqua Government Academy.

“The Piqua Government Academy has developed a tradition of providing a rich experience for participants. For our fifth academy, we are introducing modules. These modules will allow participants to choose which experiences that they would like to go through. Our participants can go through one module, all the way to all six modules. We believe this change will allow residents to have a more enriching experience through the academy,” said William Lutz, Development Program Manager.

The Six Modules for the program include Administration and Communication, Public Safety, Utilities, Infrastructure, Finance and Technology and Citizen Participation. The academy starts with the Administration and Communication module on Thursday, February 6th. Each module will consist of either three or four sessions set over a six week period. The fifth academy will end with graduation on December 16th.

Participants can register on-line for the program through the city website at www.piquaoh.org, by clicking on the Piqua Government Academy logo. Applicants can also register by contacting William Lutz, Development Program Manager at 937.778.2062. Registration for the program will close on February 1st.

Those with comments or questions are strongly encouraged to contact William Lutz, Development Program Manager at 937.778.2062 or via email at blutz@piquaoh.org.
