PIQUA — Amy Myers is the new Physics teacher at PHS. She teaches Physics, AP Physics, and Physical Science. This is her first year teaching. She loves working at PHS and says that the students are the best part of her day.

She attended high school at Benjamin Logan. The activities that she was involved in during high school include cross-country, NHS, science fair, link crew, and band. She attended the University of Dayton where she participated in band. During her college years, she was also a river steward and worked in a lab.

Myers said that her high school science teacher inspired her to become a teacher. Her hobbies include doing anything outside and reading. Myers lives with her husband.

“I’m very impressed by how welcoming the community is,” Myers said when asked about PHS.
