Piqua football wins 1932 MVL title

“Piqua High opened the lid of the 1932-33 athletic box by playing the strong Columbus West High at home. The game proved to be disastrous for Central after the Cowboys scored early in the first quarter of the game. Although the Indians threatened to score several times, they could not produce the necessary ‘punch’. There was a marked lack of pep on the part of the Indians throughout the whole game.
